I started out doodling in the margins of my notebooks, passing messages to friends with funny drawings. I idolized Stan Lee, Michelangelo, and Jim Henson. I loved collecting comics -- Conan the Barbarian, Garfield, Cathy, and Asterix & Obelix.

I grew up in Manila, Philippines, and went on to earn a B.A. in broadcast journalism at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. While earning my degree, I worked at my college newspaper as a features and opinion writer, section editor, artist of a daily comic strip named Tarabella, inspired by a feisty Pomeranian and island life. Since then, I've worked in radio, television, advertising and marketing around the world. It's been an amazing career journey and I am grateful for every opportunity to work as a creative professional.

Now based in Santa Barbara, California, I'm a mother to a sweet little boy, a wife, and a doting cat owner.

I am an artist who loves to laugh, and treasures every beautiful moment life has to offer.
